Valanni in September of 2000, introduced “Medi-Latin” cuisine to Philadelphia. Situated right off the “avenue of the arts” Valanni has become a pre-theater ritual and place to meet for a night-cap for many who live in and around the neighborhood. The bar at Valanni keeps up with the creative food served, by shaking up over 25 house specialty “V” cocktails.
Some may remember the old Apple Jack Deli that occupied the site for years, and will discover that Valanni incorporates the original sign and clock from the old friendly service. If you have never been to Valanni, you will discover a wonderful world of flavors.
This unpretentious and welcoming place is a favorite of locals and Center City sophisticates alike. The kitchen is open till 1 AM daily serving small plates and a Mediterranean inspired lounge menu.
